FruktoVit PLUS for garden flowers
This fertiliser contains nutrients in quantities and forms particularly designed to meet nutritional requirements of flowering shrubs, perennial, as well as perennial plants and annual bedding display flowers. FruktoVit PLUS may be used on all types of soils, both for new plantings, as well as for feeding already growing plants (top dressing).
Regular application of the fertiliser ensures:
- quick and proper growth of plants,
- intense colours of leaves and flowers,
- long and abundant flowering.
Method of application:
Flowering shrubs
Butterfly bush, forsythia, wisteria, hydrangea, jasmine, guelder rose, weigela, syringa, magnolia, trumpet vine, flowering currant and red-flowering currant, clematis, rose, spiraea, etc.
New plantings
In spring (mid-April) when planting, mix the soil from the hole or a special substrate with about 20 g of the fertiliser, and use the obtained substrate to cover roots of the plant, and water thoroughly. Then fertilise 3 times (maintaining monthly intervals), using 60-160 g of the fertiliser per 1m2 throughout the whole season (depending on the age and nutritional requirements of the plant), observing the following dates and doses:
mid-May | 40-80 g/m2 |
mid-June | 10-20 g/m2 |
mid-July | 10-20 g/m2 |
Perennial shrubs
Feeding of already growing plants (top dressing) should be performed 4 times, using the overall amount of 120-170 g of the fertiliser per 1m2, observing the following dates and doses:
early spring | 40-60 g/m2 |
mid-May | 40-60 g/m2 |
mid-June | 20-35 g/m2 |
mid-July | 20-35 g/m2 |
Perennials and perennial plants
Cranesbill, pansy, hellebore, cyclamen, dahlia, violet, phlox, hosta, carnation, iris, lily of the Valley, lavender, lily, thymus, mallow, columbine, peony, stonecrop, pasqueflower, daisy, etc. Plants should be fertilised 4 times, using the overall amount of 270-330 g of the fertiliser per 1m2, observing the following dates and doses:
early spring | 80-100 g/m2 |
mid-May | 80-100 g/m2 |
mid-June | 60-70 g/m2 |
mid-July | 50-60 g/m2 |
Bedding display flowers growing in the ground
Tagetes, aster, centaurea, zinnia, gilly flower, evening stock, Indian cress, geranium, sage, amaranth, etc. In spring (before planting plants), sprinkle a single dose the fertiliser evenly on the surface, applying 150-200 g/m2. Mix the granulate with the topsoil of up to a 10-20 cm thickness. In case of plants flowering in the summer, the procedure may be repeated at the end of May, using 70-100 g of the fertiliser per 1 m2.
What concerns top dressing, avoid applying the fertiliser on wet plants, and when possible, mix it with the topsoil carefully and avoid damaging the roots. Water the plants properly. Finish the fertilisation before mid-August.
Regular watering increases the efficiency of fertilisation.
